You Matter

My goal as your massage therapist is to set you on a course of health and wellness.  Our lives have become complicated. We live in a forever changing world. We spend our days scheduled around everyone else’s lives, our children our parents, our spouses. When do you make it to the top of the “to do” list?

The difference between selfish and selfless is that selfless people are more concerned with the wishes and needs of others than one’s own, where as selfish is lacking the consideration for others. You matter! In order to take care of everyone else you need to first make sure you’re taking care of yourself. Stressors in our lives can have a major effect on almost every system in the body. It can suppress your immune system, upset your digestion, increase your risk of heart problems such as high blood pressure and speed up the aging process to name a few.

Taking time for yourself is such a difficult thing to do.  There are too many obligations.  Over scheduled schedules. Massage is no longer a luxury. Massage has become a necessity.

Stress can take over your life.  It effects your sleep, your mood, your patience and it can cause physical pain.

Please make sure that you find the time to figure out ways to relax and unwind. Adding massage to your schedule will work wonders on so many levels. Your family will notice, your friends will notice, your co-workers will notice but most importantly, you will notice
